Hold up.
Woodworking and web development? Let me explain. I’ve been doing web development in a professional manner for close to 2 decades. I still learn new things all the time in that ever-evolving field of technology. A handful of years ago, I was getting burned out and really desired to create something tangible with my hands.
Both my father and stepfather are hobby woodworkers who are extremely talented. I remembered helping them when I was a kid and decided I would give woodworking a shot as a hobby. I immediately fell in love and started building out my garage and absorbing as much information as I could get my hands on. It’s so great! I get to take pieces of a tree and turn them into beautiful, functional items in our lives. Furniture like coffee tables and Adirondack chairs, to home decor, to quilt ladders, charcuterie boards, and now that I’ve got a portable CNC I can combine my tech & design background with my woodworking passions, which is a dream come true.
So, yeah, it’s weird but it’s also really great because both of these fields have become long term passions that I'm knowledgable and qualified to share with you.
If you find yourself in need of a great website, or an coffee table, or a great website inlayed into a coffee table, I’m your guy.
